The region specialises in Shiraz but is also known for its Cabernet, Grenache, Chardonnay and Riesling.

Coonawarra

Part of South Australia's picturesque Limestone Coast region, The Coonawarra with its cooler climate and hallowed "terra -rossa" is not only known for its world class Cabernet Sauvignons but also produces fantastic quality Shiraz and Merlot.

Milder summers and cooler winters allow for slow ripening , resulting in rich aromatic wines.
